Albatros platform winches are built and approved for moving work platforms in accordance with TAS. They are used in mining and shaft construction.
Albatros builds platform winches with a cable pulling force of up to 1,400 kN and a hoisting speed of up to 4m/sec. The platform winches can wind up to 2,000 metres of rope.
Depending on the requirements, the platform winches are built using single or double rope technology. State-of-the-art technology is used in the control centres. Systems with visualisation, data recording and voice recording can be implemented at the customer’s request.
Thanks to the visualisation, the systems can be diagnosed via a touchscreen. The platform winches are optionally available with a level indicator. The drive is electric with a frequency converter or hydraulic. When using frequency converters, it is possible to feed electrical energy back into the grid using a regenerative power supply unit.
