Albatros has a mobile cable winder which is used both for winding the cables onto the cable winches in the factory and on construction sites at the place where the cable winches are used. The mobile rope winder can also be used on construction sites to unwind worn ropes and replace them with new ropes.
Timber reels with different diameters and widths can be clamped onto the mobile rope winder. The speed and tractive force can be infinitely adjusted. The winch cable can be braked with the mobile cable winder for pre-tensioned spooling.
A permanently installed winch test rig is located at the company’s site in Gerling. Cable winches with a pulling force of up to 1,200 kN can be tested on the winch test rig. Overload settings and brake tests can be carried out with a moving load.
The test rig is used both for the construction of new cable winches before delivery and for recurring tests of mobile winches.
