In Switzerland, the Ropeway Act and the Ropeway Ordinance apply to the operating licence procedure for shaft hoisting and transport systems. All system components must be built and placed on the market in compliance with the Ropeway Act.
Albatros has already manufactured several cable car winches and had them certified accordingly by a notified body.
Albatros now also has a hire fleet of cable car winches that can be hired out for temporary use. In addition to the cable car winches, the shaft access vehicles, ropes, rope guides and electrical engineering are also built in accordance with the Cable Car Act and the Cable Car Ordinance.
Albatros also handles the official steps and provides support during the planning approval and operating licence process.
