Winches
Albatros winches with a very large rope uptake (200-3,500 m) for a load range from 5-1,000 kN are custom-built and depending upon requirements are provided with the following technical features:
- Special LEBUS© grooves for the multilayer winding of rope lengths of up 3,500 m.
- Rope winding device for ensuring perfect multilayer winding even with a rope deflection of 2-4°.
- Rope with electrical conductors in the core for control from the work cage (also possible via telephone link). Pfeifer Seil- und Hebetechnik is our long-term partner for the initial equipping of winches with the latest steel ropes.
- Radio remote control (distances: up to 1,500 m in steel-plated pressure pipe or up to 300 m with a free view).
- Several types of control operation possible (part-load at high speed, full load at low speed).
- Mechanical centrifugal force switch for overspeed shutdown.
- Optical and digital rope measurement and displays.
- Digital speed display.
- Data modem for online, remote servicing worldwide (saves time and money).
- Operating disk brake upstream of the first gear stage.
- Safety brake with a direct effect on the drum flanged wheel.
- Hydraulically controlled, manual brake release for emergency lowering.
- Securing of the upper and lower final position by means of an end transmission switch.
- Electro-hydraulic or purely electrical drive.
- One- or two-rope technology.
- Precise positioning of the load possible due to infinitely adjustable speed control.
A special test stand has been installed at the new company location in Herzogsdorf, which is used to test winches with tractive power of up to 1,200 kN. On the test stand, winches are ideally trimmed for their respective operational use. Initial acceptance checks and regular audits can both be made.
